Starting Monday, November 12th the XO laptop will be for sale to the public. The XO laptop was originally called the $100 laptop to provide to children in underdeveloped areas of the world. So far their progress has been slow and uphill. They plan to sell this laptop to the public for a limited time. The release to the public is to encourage their mission and acquire more feedback about the operating software and overall design. A laptop can be purchased for $399, you will be actually purchasing two, one for yourself and the other goes to a child in need. T-mobile has donated free wireless connection in the US for one year with the purchase of an XO. Not a bad deal, right?

Analog Hero has purchased the XO(s), one will be going to a child in another country and the other we are donating to a deserving child here in Minnesota. We are accepting stories of children who would be in need of a laptop. Please send us an email with your story here.
